Workshop Facilitators

Workshop facilitators based in Southampton with a community/environment focus

Rae Turpin (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher and community facilitator based in Southampton, exploring practices of multispecies belonging in the urban wilds. With a background working with non-profits in campaigns, bid writing and strategic development, she is passionate about supporting local groups and organisations towards finding creative community-based responses for some of today’s biggest intersectional issues. Rae is a current PhD researcher at Goldsmiths University, focusing on the transformative capacity of playful, slow and collaborative practice-based methods in ecological urbanism.

Tammy Oliver is an Art of Hosting practitioner who loves creatively hosting and facilitating conversations that matter, collaborating with organisers to design and deliver gatherings which ensure you get the results you want and need. She is also a graphic recorder and can creatively capture ideas, conversations, content and presentations; through real-time recording incorporating text and illustration.
