SoCAN: Southampton Climate Action Network

This is our first Funky Hats event!

Through the Beat the Heat project, which is all about how we cope with and adapt to heatwaves, we decided to have a series of crafty social events.

At Funky Hats, you can make your own solution to weather problems, including hats for shade in summer and warmth in winter. We can also share practical tips about coping with extreme weather, including energy saving when it's cold. 

The hat-pimping bit is optional, or the chat is optional, whatever you prefer!.

We will provide some old hats to pimp, wool, needles and other bits and bobs. Feel free to bring your own if you would like. We aren't experts in millinary or knitting, but hopefully we can help each other out.

No need to book. Just turn up.
