SoCAN: Southampton Climate Action Network

The Environment Centre (tEC) is an independent charity, established in 1993, which aims to reduce carbon emissions, encourage sustainability, improve air quality and help people keep warm and well in their homes.

They do this by providing tailored advice, delivering outreach and training, and managing practical projects. They support others to take action, working with individuals, community groups, charities, schools, businesses and local government. They have worked on a diverse range of local, national and European projects from fuel poverty, air quality and waste minimisation to best practice in behaviour change, sustainable construction and peak energy demand reduction. They are the trusted local centre for information and support for home energy efficiency, affordable warmth and sustainable living.
