Publishing since 2005 bitternepark.info is an independent community news site for Bitterne Park and nearby areas. It also covers some city news from time to time. It's partly funded through voluntary reader subs and advertising. It's free to include not-for-profit events on the What's On calendar, and press releases and advertising enquiries are welcomed to admin (at) bitternepark dot info.
The site has active feeds on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - search @bitternepark - and publishes an email digest most weeks. bitternepark.info is a member of the Independent Community News Network, the UK's representative body for over 100 community news brands in the UK, and is a partner organisation in the BBC’s Local Democracy Reporting Service scheme.
