RAFTS: Exhibition Launch

From 20 March – 25 May 2026, we’ll be exhibiting RAFTS, a new exhibition by artist Alistair Debling commissioned by ‘a space’ arts. The project brings together climate research by Dr Gordon Inglis from the University of Southampton with creative workshops developed alongside the charity Rose Road. Together, they explore the question: what if climate change were reframed as an issue of access and care?
The resulting multimedia installation will transform the main gallery at God’s House Tower, imagining strategies for “staying afloat” in the face of climate crisis while foregrounding community knowledge and lived experience.
We’d love to invite you (and members of your community) to the launch event on Friday 20 March at 6pm. Guests will be able to explore the exhibition, network with guest, and hear a short introduction from our Curator & Programme Manager, Mia Delve, before the artist speaks about the work.
