Building with Nature
Thursday 28 May 2026
17:30 to 20:00
What if our buildings and the places in-between made space for nature?
Thursday 28th May | 1730-2000 | God House Tower in Southampton
Southampton Collective, Southampton National Park City and RSA Southampton are presenting this event as a part of the 2026 Urban Wild Festival in Southampton.
Southampton is building. New housing, commercial space, infrastructure. But growth doesn’t have to mean grey.
Across Hampshire and the South Coast, architects, landscape architects and developers are already proving that green roofs, living walls, biodiverse courtyards and rewilded public spaces aren’t luxuries — they are critical approaches that can reconnect people and the environment, increasing ecological resilience.
The event will feature work by architects, landscape designers, developers and others who shape our urban environment. They will showcase some of their inspiring work with green roofs, walls and urban spaces to inform our reimagining of Southampton. Get in touch with Rebecca Kinge if you know of good work that should be included in this event or would be like to be involved.
Tickets are available soon.
