This will be the second screening of this new 57-min documentary in Southampton. The film explores the reasons we are seeing an increase in wildfires in Europe and uncovers that this is more than just climate change and mismanagement and links them with fascism, big business, organised crime, and the rise of the far right. The film showcases how communities are engaging in direct action, protest, rewilding, and suppressing the rise of uncontrollable fires and the far right through direct actions. The director of the film is Dr Pete Knapp who has a background in air quality and shifted careers from academia to storytelling. He will be joining us for a Q&A after the film!
