SoCAN: Southampton Climate Action Network

This is our first Funky Hats event!

Through the Beat the Heat project, which is all about how we cope with and adapt to heatwaves, we decided to have a series of crafty social events.

At Funly Hats, you can make your own solution to weather problems, including hats for shade in summer and warmth in winter. We can also share practical tips about issues related to coping with extreme weather. 

The hat-making bit is optional, or the chat is optional, whatever you prefer!.

We will provide some wool, needles and some sewing bits and bobs. Feel free to bring your own if you would like. We aren't experts in millinary or knitting, but hopefully we can help each other out.

No need to book. Just turn up.
