Join our Mothers* Rebellion for climate justice on Sunday 27th April, 10:30am-12pm, in Guildhall Square Southampton. The 22nd April is Earth Day and the theme of this action is #protectwhatwelove.
Mothers* Rebellion is a global peaceful family friendly protest where a circle of mothers* (and allies) sit down together in a public place, facing the passers-by, with signs sharing the reason we are here. Our message is that we refuse to look away, that we refuse to give up and that we will do everything we can for the lives and future of our children and all children.
Children, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts and pets are all welcome – anyone who cares about protecting what we love from climate breakdown.
What to bring:
• A sign to hold about why you are participating (this could be as simple as the names and ages of the children you care about)
• You can also bring a drawing by your child(ren) of what they love about Planet Earth
• All weather gear (raincoat, sun lotion, layers, hat)
• Something to sit on
• Snacks and water, for you and your little people
