Get rally ready: Restore Nature Now creative workshop
Saturday 15 June 2024
10:30 to 15:00
On June 22nd thousands of people will be walking through the streets of London together for nature – this legal, peaceful, inclusive and family-friendly demonstration aims to be the biggest gathering of people for nature and climate that the UK has ever seen. It is both a celebration and a call for urgent political action on the nature and climate emergencies.
You can sign up to be part of Restore Nature Now | Pledge to march on June 22
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, together with local environmental groups and artists, will be holding a workshop on Saturday 15th June to help everyone to get ready to make a (beautiful) scene! You will be able to create nature-inspired banners, displays and more.
Even if you can't make it to the march itself, you can come and get creative and get involved!
We will be joined by Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust's Vice President and President. Chris and Megan are helping to lead the Restore Nature Now initiative and will be coming along on to this creative workshop to help us get ready to rally!
The event will take place from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, with designated timeslots available. While you're welcome to join us at any point during the day, we kindly ask that you register for a specific timeslot. This helps us gauge attendance numbers and ensure we have ample materials and assistance on hand for everyone.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Gods House Tower for their kind support in offering us their wonderful venue for the day.
See you there!
