Climate Action Workshop 17th

Social Impact Lab Climate Action Workshop

Wednesday 17 May 2023
14:00 to 16:00

Join us for a 2-hour innovation workshop, where we will hear inspiring case studies of innovative climate action at the local, national, and international levels. After hearing each case study, participants will be divided into small teams to discuss new ideas for innovative solutions to climate problems. The workshop will begin with a presentation introducing the key principles of Doughnut Economics that will be used to guide the creative sessions.

At the end of the workshop, prizes will be awarded to the most promising ideas and ways to remain connected and engaged will be shared. We hope the workshop will leave you inspired and with new connections to people and organisations who care about the planet and are ready to take action.

The workshop will be attended by a mixture of university students, faculty members, local community organisations and sixth formers. By putting our minds together, we can all become more active in the fight to save the planet.

The Workshop is run by students working with the Social Impact Lab at the University of Southampton.
