Southampton Climate Café

Sunday 16 July 2023
14:00 to 16:00

Climate Café is moving to God's House Tower for the summer for the duration of the GHT.2058: Asylo Jannat exhibition by Bijan Moosavi - part of the Art for Climate Action series.

What do you do with your knowledge of the climate and environmental emergency?

Do you try not to feel or think about it, struggle with eco-anxiety, or are fearful of addressing your feelings about this challenge?

Climate Café is the space for people to get together and start an honest conversation about how our converging climate and ecological challenges make us feel.

This is not the place for judgement or comparing what actions we currently take, although it can be an empowering space to take the first steps towards climate action.

Suitable for ages 16 and up. In order to create a safe and confidential space, it is encouraged to stay for the whole session. This is a free event, but donations are encouraged to pay for the rental of the space.

We are a professional team consisting of trained psychotherapists who organise Climate Cafés across Southampton and Hampshire. For more information email climateEling@talktalk.net to speak to a facilitator.
