Friends of Peartree Green

Saturday 25 June 2022
10:00 to 16:00

Ever wanted to know more about what's living on the Green, and how we're managing the reserve for people and wildlife? Throughout the day, we aim to record as many species as we can, so come along and help us identify bugs, butterflies, trees, flowers and more! Phil Budd, our ecologist (pictured, looking for bugs in a bush!) will help with identification, along with Lindsay McCulloch (Southampton City Council Planning Ecologist) and members of Southampton Natural History Society. Records of what we have - and don't have - are important for planning our conservation work. Find us near the picnic tables off Sea Road, just behind the children's play area.
