Composting

Wednesday 04 May 2022
19:00 to 20:30

Join Kevin Bryan and Transition Southampton in the shop for this talk - we commence at 7pm, see you there!

Unlike Kevin’s talks on Biodiversity and Rewilding, this talk considers a specific local activity. Composting need not be difficult and is both useful to you and important for the environment.

The talk's focus is domestic garden and food waste. It explores bad 'advice' and good science.

Options for community domestic composting are also considered – some of which work far better than others.

Something for beginners and existing composters alike. Want to find out more? Come and join the conversation.
